Anna Beetham is a PODIATRIST who graduated in New Zealand and moved to Melbourne in 2000 to further an interest in Sports Medicine following a career as an elite swimmer.
She has worked with many elite athletes including international, being part of the Medical team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games & was the consultant Podiatrist to the Melbourne Victory Football Club from 2009 – 2014.
Anna volunteered for 11 years as the Podiatry co-ordinator for the Melbourne Oxfam Trailwalker & has extensive knowledge in preparation for endurance sports, hiking & blister prevention.
Anna has worked primarily in multidisciplinary sports medicine clinics and has a special interest in lower limb biomechanics, footwear advice, orthotic prescription and a passion for working with the young athlete. Anna works with all athletes ranging from recreational to elite and has a personal interest in soccer, hockey, running & triathlon.
