Anik is a specialist SPORTS AND EXERCISE PHYSICIAN (MBBS, FACSP).

Anik consults at Physiosports Brighton twice a week. In addition to this practice she has roles including Talent Pathway and Academy Medical Officer for the Australian Football League (AFL), Tournament Physician at the Australian Open Tennis and Independent Medical Advisor for the cricket Big Bash League (BBL).

Other appointments include sitting on the Australian Sports Medical Advisory Committee (ASDMAC), member of the ICC TUE committee and a consultancy role in Workers Compensation.

Previous team experience includes chief medical officer for Melbourne Victory Football Club, medical officer for the Australian World Championships rowing team, Women’s Australian U21 Basketball team, National League Basketball teams, Melbourne Monarchs Australian Baseball League team, U21 Victorian netball team and the Port Melbourne Football club.

Previous experience includes working as the Medical Convenor at the Victorian Institute of Sport, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, Chief Medical Officer for the FINA World Championships and World Masters Games
