Kane Spagnolo


Kane is an APA SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST who graduated from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia and completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University 2015.

Kane returned from Canberra where he completed the Post Graduate Scholar position at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 2016. During his time at the AIS he worked with a variety of junior and senior athletes, as well as undertaking a research project into recurrent hamstring injuries and hip and groin pain in adolescent soccer players.

Kane was the team physiotherapist for the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) Australian U16/17’s Joey’s AFF Tour to Cambodia and the AFC World Cup Qualifiers in India during 2016.

Kane currently works as an AFL physiotherapist for St Kilda Football Club whilst maintaining some clinical hours here at Physiosports Brighton.

Hamstrings are a special interest area for Kane, as well as hip and groin and other lower limb injuries.
