Integrated Rehab of the Sporting Pelvis and Lower Limb.

12.Jul.11 | Legacy

Date: 14th August 2011.
Poor lower limb and lumbo-pelvic mechanics are often the precursor to injury and subsequent poor recovery upon return to activity. Physiotherapy as a profession is best placed to provide an integrated rehabiliation program given our background in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.

This course aims to develop the participants skills in functional assessment of the lower limb and pelvis as a ‘kinetic chain’, demonstrate a logical approach to implementation and progression of exercise and challenge their perceptions of rehab and their role in the athlete’s return to sport.

Presenters: Paul Visentini, Lynne Thompson and Steven Whytcross
Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
