Steve Whytcross

Specialist Sports Physiotherapist

Steve is a SPECIALIST SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST, awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapy, and a director of Physiosports Brighton. He graduated with honours from Melbourne University in 1999. In 2015, he earned Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapy after completing his specialisation exams.

Steve has extensive experience working with elite athletes in Australia and the United Kingdom, focusing on basketball, soccer, tennis, and athletics. He currently leads the sports medicine programs for Old Brighton Grammarians and Caulfield Grammarians Football Club (VAFA).

Dedicated to advancing physiotherapy, Steve connects professionals with world-leading clinicians and researchers. He has lectured widely to postgraduate physiotherapists and health professionals. He also co-developed the Physiosports Mastering Load series and Science of Cycling courses. Additionally, he regularly facilitates symposia on tendinopathy and adolescent athlete management.

An avid golfer and cyclist, Steve specialises in sports biomechanics. At Physiosports, he provides golf assessments and shockwave therapy, helping athletes improve performance and prevent injuries.
