Tahlia Hansen is a PHYSIOTHERAPIST who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2025. She began her university journey studying Exercise and Sports Science in 2020 before transferring to La Trobe University to pursue physiotherapy, building a strong foundation in strength, conditioning and injury management along the way.
Before stepping into her role as a physiotherapist, Tahlia was a familiar face at Physiosports Brighton, working as a receptionist for three years. During this time, she developed a deep understanding of the patient journey and the importance of clear communication, teamwork and continuity of care within a multidisciplinary clinic.
Tahlia has also spent the past three years as a sports trainer with Old Brighton Grammarians Football Club, after previously working with the Parkdale Vultures Superules. These roles have strengthened her skills in acute injury management, rehabilitation planning and return-to-play decision making, supporting athletes to recover safely and perform at their best.
Having trained in dance for 16 years herself, Tahlia has a strong understanding of the physical and technical demands placed on dancers. She has a special interest in dance rehabilitation, supporting dancers through injury recovery, strength development and safe return to performance. More broadly, she is passionate about helping active people recover from injury, build strength and move with confidence so they can continue doing what they love.
Tahlia is committed to delivering evidence-based, individualised care. She works collaboratively with her patients to develop clear treatment plans focused on reducing pain, restoring movement and building long-term strength and confidence.
