Alison Murdoch

Physiotherapist

Alison is an APA SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST who completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University in 2012.

Ali enjoys focusing on injury prevention as well as lower limb biomechanics and has a special interest in lower limb tendon injuries. As a regular Crossfitter, she takes an interest in working with Crossfit athletes of all levels, not only to manage acute injuries, but to help correct any underlying abnormal movement patterns to optimise function and prevent recurrence and injury. Ali competed at the 2012 World Crossfit Games in L.A. for Schwartz Crossfit Melbourne where they placed 9th.

Ali has a keen interest in all sports, having previously worked with elite gymnasts at MLC Gymnastics club (2008-2012), Collegians Football Club VAFA A-grade (2005-2009) and in 2007 travelled to China with an Australian Basketball Association representative team. In 2009 Ali was the Head Physiotherapist for the Australian Team at the Triathlon Age-group World Championships in Perth.
