Anthony Lucente


Anthony is a PHYSIOTHERAPIST who holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy and prior to this a Bachelor of Science from University of Melbourne majoring in Anatomy and Physiology. He was awarded the Executive Dean’s List award for academic excellence from Bond University, where he undertook research into strength training and injury prevention with the NSW police.

Anthony has a distinct interest in cricket and lumbar stress injuries which took him to undertake research with Cricket Australia. In both 2020 and 2021 he presented at the Cricket Australia Sports Medicine Conference ‘Risk factors of lumbar bone stress injuries’ and has an upcoming publication.

He has worked with the Gold Coast Suns AFL, ARU Wallabies U20s, Mckinnon Cougars (Big V), Collegians FC (VAFA), Brighton Grammar Rowing and the Cricket Victoria elite pathway program having travelled to multiple national championships.

Anthony is currently physiotherapist for the Caulfield Grammarians FC in the VAFA Premier grade, and enjoys playing cricket and skiing.
